Mr Ramkishan Balakumar is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon providing specialist care for adults and children across Swindon and Wiltshire.
He offers comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of ENT conditions, with particular expertise in paediatric ENT and facial skin cancer surgery.
Mr Balakumar is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
He is the Paediatric ENT Lead within the department and also leads the facial plastics and skin cancer service. He is a core member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
Training & Experience
Mr Balakumar completed his higher surgical training in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery within the UK. He has undertaken specialist training in paediatric ENT and has experience working in tertiary centres, including Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. His training has provided extensive experience in both routine and complex ENT conditions.
